Be Prepared!!
If you read this and soak it all up, all will be well. If you don't then you may be tragically unprepared and then there might be queueing on the way into the festival and well, no-one wants that....so..........listen up!
Checking-In
We ask that you arrive after 4pm on Friday, if you have a camper van - please arrive as near to 4pm as possible to get the best pitch and to reduce the risk that moving vehicles bring to the site.
On arrival there will be a ticket collection point where you will be asked for ID and for the booking reference number – this would preferably be on a print-out of the email confirming your booking. We’ll also ask for the mobile number you entered on the website. This is all just to check that you are who you say you are so that we can all stay friends! In return you will receive wristbands for your party members and a registration form which must be filled in by everyone in your group – the form will also ask for your car registration/phone number link (so we can contact you if your car needs moving).
Group O'Tickets?!
If your ticket was booked for you as part of a group then the person who booked your ticket needs to make sure you each get your wristband - so they'll need to be here before you, so you can get in. If you rock up saying “my friend will be here later, they have the booking” its obviously tricky for us to let you in. Furrowed brows on a nice sunny Friday afternoon isn't a dream start to the weekend, so please make sure that you sort out whatever genius plan you need that will involve “the booker” arriving first out of the group.
If, by chance, you arrive before your ticket booker there is a large lay-by on the main road, about half a mile from site which you will be asked to wait in. This is because there is very little space between the festival entrance and our car park and we need to avoid clogging the local roads as much as we can. Extra incentive to sweet-talk your “booker” into arriving ahead of you!
Booze News
There will be a restriction on the amount of alcohol you are allowed to bring onto site (2 litres of wine per adult, five cans of beer per adult – equivalent units for other types of alcohol.. you get the picture...). We ask that this limit is respected. As you know there is a fairly priced bar on site open both evenings, so there will be plenty of tasty drink choices available! Also please don't bring any glass onto the site.
For the fresh-faced among you, please bear in mind that if you are not “the booker” and therefore not necessarily already bringing photo ID with you, the bar staff will obviously have the usual right to ask anyone to prove how old they are, so you may want to bring your ID just in case.
