How much are tickets?

You can find out all about pricing on the tickets page.

Do I receive my tickets by post?

Nope, you can collect your tickets when you arrive on the Friday - the ticket collection office will be open from 4pm at the entrance to the festival.

Can I buy day tickets?

In short, no, sorry. Part of the roots of this event and one of its major hopes is to provide a forum for the fluid groups of friendships in attendance to mingle and mix, to enjoy and explore new music, new conversation, new views and ideas. This is why the number of tickets for this event is being kept limited and why they are only available for the whole weekend - it's a package deal. Of course you are free to dip in and out, take a snooze, arrive late - its up to you. We can't imagine for a second that you'd be glad you were only staying for one day!

When can I arrive?

The festival gates will be open from 4pm on Friday 2nd July. When you arrive you'll need to register and get signed in, then you can pitch up and chill out...

How can I buy tickets offline?

See our Get In Touch page, drop a line to Asher, he'll sort you out.

What if I'm allergic to camping?

There are a few fantastic local B&Bs and hotels. Spot the post-code and exact location of the festival site on the Where & When page and happy googling!

Can I bring an instrument to play?

Sure thing, there'll be space and time available for jam sessions and the like: djembes, guitars, harps, ukeleles, kazoos... just be kind to your neighbours after midnight.

Can I bring my own drinks?

Well, if you do you'll be missing out on the local real ales from the Great Orme Brewary and the fine beverages from the Purple Moose brewary. We're also hosting the fantastic 816 Espresso cafe-bar - but you know, its your call. Please be aware though that there is a 'no glass' policy across the festival site.

Will the festival be a family friendly atmosphere?

Not really no, we've decided this year not to sell tickets to under 18's. We are making an exception for parents with babies / toddlers, however you will be fully responsible for the safety and security of your children at all times.

REVISION: We have been listening to feedback from groups and families wanting to come along with children and participate in the community vibe of the festival. So with this in mind, we have expanded the age range of tickets available. Now on offer are tickets for children under 12. Please note however that this year tickets are not available for persons between 12 and 18 years and we are not offering any specific activities / entertainment for children. With that said, we welcome you to bring your family along to enjoy the sunshine and experience the true heart of the Ymuno Festival with us!

Will there be a vegetarian caterer on site?

Yep.

What disabled facilities do you have?

There will be a disabled toilet, and designated parking spaces at the end of the car-park nearest to the campsite/festival entrance. Please bear in mind that part of the site is a farmer's field - there are few smooth ground surfaces such as pathways or any other concreted areas, so this will make wheelchair access tricky.

Where do we dispose of rubbish on site?

There will be recycling points at the festival. We'll be asking you to take any other litter home with you.

Can we have fires and BBQs?

Alas no - the venue is a farmer's field, so we need to leave his land spick and span. There will be several large fire-pits at various points across the site, and you can enjoy them together - even better!

Do we have to pay to park?

Nope!

Are there any local facilities?

Not so much. Please remember that tragically there will be no cash machine on site - be sure to bring cash for the weekend! We won't be operating any kind of trading system, so no sweet smiles will get you drinks at the bar and food will not be exchanged for buttons or stamps, so bring some legal tender.

Can I bring my dog?

Please don't, and its nothing personal against you or your dog – no pets allowed.

Can I park my car by my tent?

When you arrive you will be directed to the car-park and that's as far as your car will be able to travel. The camping area is for non-vehicle traffic only, but you won't have far to walk from your car with your tent and whatnot - see the map of the festival site to count how few steps it will take.

Can I bring my caravan / camper van / live-in vehicle?

Generally this is a no, however get in touch if you have specific requirements, we can make exceptions.

Is there public transport that can get me to the festival?

The bus stop outside the venue receives regular visits from the 5 and 5X (among) bus services every 30 minutes

Trains to and from Bangor may connect to just about anywhere in the world, see the national train websites for times and routes.

Other travel options you may wish to explore include whale-back rides, magic carpets and also the 'hop on!' car sharing option – why not see if a friendly soul from your part of the world is driving to the festival and offering a lift – this delightful, friend-making, road-tripping and environmentally-friendly option can be sought out on the Discussion Board of the Ymuno Festival fan page on Facebook.
