How much are tickets?

You can find out all about pricing on the tickets page.

Do I receive my tickets by post?

Nope, you can collect your tickets when you arrive on the Friday at the entrance to the festival.

Can I buy day tickets?

In short, no, sorry. Part of the roots of this event and one of it's major hopes is to provide a forum for the fluid groups of friendships in attendance to mingle and mix, to enjoy and explore new music, new conversation, new views and ideas. This is why the number of tickets for this event is being kept limited and why they are only available for the whole weekend - it's a package deal. Of course you are free to dip in and out, take a snooze, arrive late - it's up to you. We can't imagine for a second that you'd be glad you were only staying for one day!

We now recognise that local people from communities nearby, itching to come to Ymuno Festival, might not want to camp on their own doorstep! So, in light of that, and wanting to be as far-reaching and accessible as possible, we are offering reduced rate day-tickets to local North Wales communities.

When can I arrive?

The festival gates will be open from 5pm on Friday 1st July. When you arrive you'll need to register and get signed in, then you can pitch up and chill out...

How can I buy tickets offline?

See our Get In Touch page, drop a line to Cate, she'll sort you out.

What if I'm allergic to camping?

There are a few fantastic local B&Bs and hotels. Spot the post-code and exact location of the festival site on the Where & When page and happy googling!

Can I bring an instrument to play?

Sure thing, there'll be space and time available for jam sessions and the like: djembes, guitars, harps, ukeleles, kazoos... just be kind to your neighbours after midnight.

Can I bring my own drinks?

Well, if you do you'll be missing out on the local real ales from the Great Orme Brewery and the fine beverages from the Purple Moose brewery. We're also hosting the fantastic 816 Espresso cafe-bar - but you know, it's your call. Please be aware though that there is a 'no glass' policy across the festival site. Please do not bring any glass bottles to site.

Will the festival have a family friendly atmosphere?

The families who came to Ymuno Festival 2010 enjoyed the friendly, safe atmosphere of the festival and their kids were always the first ones up dancing throughout the sunny days and brought a whole bit of vibe of their own to the place. We're really hoping they'll come back this year, and we may even throw in some face-painting stalls!

This year we are selling tickets to under-12's again for a discounted price, and have a policy of no tickets for unaccompanied young adults (ages 13 - 17). We are positive about young adults, and if you'd like to bring a young adult as part of a family or group that's not a problem. However, please be aware of the following points:-

  • The duty of care for a young adult is the sole responsibility of the parent / guardian.
  • Young adults are accountable at all times to their parent / guardian.
  • Underage drinking will not be tolerated.
  • No unaccompanied young adults will be allowed to remain on site without a parent / guardian.

If you have any questions about our young adult policy please do get in touch.

Will there be a vegetarian caterer on site?

Yep, this year No-Bones-Jones will be joining us, bringing his fine foods and cheer!

What disabled facilities do you have?

There will be a disabled toilet, and designated parking spaces at the end of the car-park nearest to the campsite/festival entrance. Please bear in mind that the whole site is a farmer's field - there are very few smooth ground surfaces such as pathways or any other concreted areas, so this will make wheelchair access tricky.

Where do we dispose of rubbish on site?

There will be recycling points at the festival. We'll be asking you to take any other litter home with you.

Can we have fires and BBQs?

Alas no - the venue is a farmer's field, so we need to leave his land spick and span. There will be several large fire-pits at various points across the site, and you can enjoy them together - even better!

Do we have to pay to park?

Nope!

Are there any local facilities?

Not so much. Please remember that tragically there will be no cash machine on site - be sure to bring cash for the weekend! We won't be operating any kind of trading system, so no sweet smiles will get you drinks at the bar and food will not be exchanged for buttons or stamps, so bring some legal tender.

Can I bring my dog?

Please don't, and it's nothing personal against you or your dog – no pets allowed.

Can I park my car by my tent?

When you arrive you will be directed to the car-park and that's as far as your car will be able to travel. The camping area is for non-vehicle traffic only, but you won't have far to walk from your car with your tent and whatnot.

Can I bring my caravan / camper van / live-in vehicle?

This year we have the room for motorhomes and caravans, you are most welcome. Spaces are limited however so please get in touch with your specific requirements.

Is there a car sharing option to get me to the festival?

Some travel options you may wish to explore include whale-back rides, magic carpets and also the 'hop on!' car sharing option – why not see if a friendly soul from your part of the world is driving to the festival and offering a lift – this delightful, friend-making, road-tripping and environmentally-friendly option can be sought out on the Discussion Board of the Ymuno Festival fan page on Facebook.
